Bless the Lord#107 that winning the Super Bowl cannot fill anyone’s life.

I got the chance to hear Green Bay Packers player Jordy Nelson share his testimony of faith and what it was like to be professional football player. He was down to earth, sincere and easy to listen to. One of the things he mentioned though was the fact that after winning the Super Bowl in 2011 and achieving the dream you always have as an athlete, by the end of the night the fulfillment of winning faded. Satisfaction was not long lasting and in many ways it felt like any other win the next day.

Hebrews says it right when it describes “ the fleeting pleasures” of this world. I bless the Lord for that because it puts into proper place the truth that only Christ satisfies (which Jordy went on to share).
